Boutique Tomorrow!

Another Boutique... Nov 28th & Dec 5th

I'll be at another boutique tomorrow.. Come on out if you're in the Sandy area. It's in the primerica building, right off 90th S. and I15. (Exact address 9055 S. 255 W)
I will also be there Saturday, Dec. 5th. Hours for both Saturdays are 10 am-5 pm

Here's a sneak peak of some of the new items I will have there. I wanted to make a few "small" things for younger kids age. Kind of like the treats they would take to school or to their teachers.


Here is another version of "Homemade Christmas Fudge" Yes, they are Symphony bars (which in my book is pretty heavenly fudge).

These are little round "Palmers" brand candies. Some are peppermint and some are cookies and cream. (Did I mention that I LOVE bulk at Winco?? Makes boutique candy shopping so much easier!!). There are 4 candies per bag here.

These are "Reindeer Noses." One nose for Dasher, Dancer, Prancer, Vixon, Comet, Cupid, Donnor, Blitzen & Ruldolph!

This is kind of a spin off of those crazy spiders that I did a million of at Halloween. I think I will sell these separately for like 50 cents... but then they look kind of cute packaged together, so I think I will do that also.

And these are little candy canes with the same "Santa" face. I really like this Santa, but I'm having a hard time getting the paper to stick to the candy cane. (This is the time when I wish I had some "cheap" quality cardstock... my stampin up cardstock is so heavy weight).

Thanksgiving Blessing Mix

I'm a little sad to admit that I completely skipped thanksgiving crafts this year. With the Halloween boutique and the timing of the holiday boutiques, I didn't get anything made for it. I love the fall colors and really miss making fall stuff.

I have sold these "Thanksgiving Blessing Mixes" at every Holiday boutique, and they usually do pretty well. Last year I sold 2, and ended up giving the other 48 out at work, so I skipped them this year. I did, however, put together 8 of them for our Charley's home teaching and for my visiting teaching sisters.

In The Doghouse?

Nah. Well, at least I hope I'm not... HaHa.

Actually, Charley did something very sweet for me, so I made him this card. I think this is one of my favorite cards to date... and I've made A LOT of cards!

I actually liked it so much that I made 12 more. I took them to work and mentioned to some friends they should buy one and take it home to their husband... I sold them ALL!

Off to make some more.

More Boutique.. Christmas!!

These are little boxes the have 4 wrapped hershey nuggets in them. They are very tiny!

Gift card holders & tags... LOTS of them!

These are "Candy Cane Seeds" Starlight mint candies with the candy cane seed poem attached.

These are are "Snowman Soup" kits. The card is a mug and the pocket contains the snowman soup poem, hot cocoa packet, candy cane, hershey kisses and marshmallows.

These are Kidz cards. There are 5 difference cards, 5 envelopes and crayons in these. Perfect for kids to color and give to their friends, family, etc.

Of course there will be cards! (Ever known me to NOT have cards??)

A new thing I thought I'd try this year. I always have people telling me that they would love to make cards, they just have no idea where to start. Well, this is a great starting place. These are premade card kits. Everything is pre cut, stamped, and complete instructions to make 5 completed cards. (Sorry, this is a really bad picture, it was taken with my cell phone).

Stationery Sets. This is a sample of a stationery box with 8 cards.

And these are much cuter in person. They are little "magazine" holders. Kind of like book ends. They hold 4 matching cards and envelopes.

And these are called "Explosion boxes" Each box opens up with lots of room for pictures, writing, and even a small gift. I like to put a gift card in the middle of these, they fit perfectly. As you can see, there's even matching gift card holders!

As you can see, there's no Christmas items here! They're not done yet.. LOL. But be sure to stop by, if nothing else, just to say Hi.

Halloween Boutique Items

So I haven't done a Halloween boutique in years! I've decided I really miss making Halloween stuff. Here's a few pics of some of the items... I might have to make it an annual thing again. Here's some of the items... EVERYTHING I had sold, and even took orders for more!

These are little treat bags. These ones pictured have 100 calorie packs in them, just so you get an idea for how big they are. The cards in front are made with the same template, they just were mounted on cards rather than made into boxes.

These little spiders have peppermint pattys in them. After the first batch I started putting those "monster money" candies in them. They worked out so much better because they are thinner, firmer, and cheaper!! I ended up making and selling about 200 of these little things. (I think I'm spider'ed out for a while.. LOL).

These are little candy corn boxes. Super easy and super cute!

And these are eyeball suckers. Believe it or not, it's impossible to buy these suckers anywhere! You'll die, but I actually ended up calling my bank and asking them if I could buy 100 of them! LOL.

Boss' Day Boxes

It is that time of year again! Only this year we now have three supervisors instead of two! So, with all the regrouping and reorganization of team, we decided to do Boss' day as a whole group. That's a lot!! 50+ people.

So, in coming up with a project for them, I decided we needed to have a card big enough for EVERYONE to sign. This is what I came up with, they are called explosion boxes. These are also referred to as scrapbooks in a box. They are intended to hold LOTS of pictures. When you take the lid off, the sides collapse and you can look at all the flaps. So, rather than adding pictures to each flap, I just left them blank, or added mats for people to write on. I also added pockets and pull tabs. They turned out really cute, and for those that know me and my fetish with boxes, (haha) I see these becoming a new addition.

We also collected from everyone and got each of the supervisors a gift card to their favorite places. Yes, starbucks thought I was nuts when I came in and got a $50 gift card. That's a LOT of frappacinos!! But since we gave them gift cards, I made matching gift card holders that fit inside the boxes. They turned out super cute, I think I will make some for the Christmas boutiques.

After I had made these and taken them to work, I was asked to make another box for the deparment manager. I think I like the colors on this one the best.

Waterfall Card...

We had a team celebration at work, ending with a team party at the park. Every party needs invitations, right? Well, this was no exception. I was just going to print them off on the computer, but we were going to do a "4 seasons" party with the "A Tree For All Seasons" stamp set. I had an idea for the waterfall card and really wanted to try it. (4 small square stamps of equal size... waterfall card for sure!!). I made 22 of these and spent WAY more time that I wanted to for a work function. But, they turned out cute so it was worth it.

The party was to celebrate our team being "fully seasoned" which means every processor is now trained and certified on every claim/plan type. How fitting to have a "4 seasons" party. These were the invitations for the "4 day forecast" Thursday was fall, Friday was Winter, Monday was Spring and Tuesday was wrapping it all up with "Summer" and a team picnic at the park. It was fun, and hopefully fun for all the team as well.

Father's Day... "DAD" Book

As promised, here are the pictures of the father's day "DAD" book. We (well, Charley) has very few pictures of him and the girls when they were little, so I've been wanting to put them into an album for him. I thought this would be something fun the girls could work on when they were with us on the weekends. Well, turns out we had very little weekend time before father's day, but I still think this turned out great. I cut all the pages on the Cricut (cartridges used are George and Base Camp), put the book together, and the girls did the rest. Oh, and yes, he loved it.
